The video is a compilation of the documentation of the performance and imagery from the computer program that I'm mimicking in my act. You hear snippets from the discussion that was held after the performance. The following text is from the flyer announcing the event at Roodkapje.
The audience will be seated inside and through the windows of Roodkapje will watch an event in the busy streets of Rotterdam. In the beginning, the audience will see close to nothing. Gradually, the viewers will realize that they see somebody amongst the casual passers-by, performing strange movements, reminiscent of human or possibly robotic movement. An integral part of the project is the discussion between the performer and the audience which will take place at the end of each performance. The origins of the performed movement will be revealed to the viewers and the increasingly blurred boundaries between the actual and the virtual will be discussed critically.
